Re: PRECISION FLYING CHALLENGE
I now tried to fly the Precison Challenge 3 times with raising scores ;-) I always use real weather, with Altimeter set to P20 field Elevation and both ForeFlight and Garmin 795 with current charts for navigation. One question concerning altituide scoring: Does the 100 feet tolerance mean, an altitu...

Re: PRECISION FLYING CHALLENGE
Hi PE Flyers,
Trying to fly the Precison Challenge, I couldn't select KP20 as my Destination Airport. X-Plane 10.32 only found CP20 as best match.
apxp.info lists that Airport, but without an option to download the scenery.
Any clues?
Regards
Friedhelm

PE client/Aircraft Liveries
Hi PE community,
I'm using X-Plane 10.31 on Windows 7.
Any idea how to export the aircraft liveries with the PE Client?
I fly a Grumman Cheetah, ICAO Code AA5, but it appears to be a Beech Bonanza when seen by others.
Any ideas?
Regards, Friedhelm

Passed I-02 (eventually)
New year starts successfully. I just passed I-02 after two FAILEDs. First time I didn't comply with the clearance and missed to fly HDG 175 after SNA departure (see other post). On the second attempt, I made it successfully up to OCN and requested ILS 24 for Palomar, which was approved. However, for...

Re: Questions on I-02
Thanks so much for that thorough feedback. I flew that route offline several times to get used to what I have to expect on the real checkride, and I watched the video. I always departed on heading 175 at KSNA on those rehearsels, and I even wondered why there was no heading given on my departure cle...

Questions on I-02
Today, at about 2300Z I did go for the I-02 checkride. I failed shortly after departure, since I did not comply with an altitude restriction. I cannot remember that an altitude restriction was part of the clearance I got from Delivery, at least such a restriction was not in my readback, which was co...

I'll definitely try to check in about 0100Z, that is 0300 local time here in the Frankfurt Area.
