Re: Pilot Introductions - Hello
I have to say right off the bat, this is the greatest thing I've done in years!!! My name is Terry Turner Sr and started flying in 1974 and yes they had powered airplanes way back then. I have a CPL ASEL, AMEL, Inst. and with roughly 6000 hrs total time, I instructed from 1987 to 1990, then sadly l...

Re: Military fields are now uncontrolled
That helps! Thanks a lot, it didn't even come up in my stupid mind to check an IFR chart for a VFR flight. My bad. You did exactly what you should do IRL. Or even on PE approaching a civil class Charlie, call approach listed on the VFR sectional. Mil airfields are one of the very few anomalies on PE.

Re: Military fields are now uncontrolled
If the controlled airspace you were staying clear of is the KNUW Class C, then you didn’t need to worry about it. Since KNUW in non-towered, its Class C airspace goes away so I assume approach does also. But for flight following I would’ve checked the IFR low chart and you can see the overlying cont...

Re: What does "cleared for the option" mean?
I’ll go out on a limb here... “Cleared for the option” means you are cleared for the option you choose... a full stop is one of them. If it went down as you say, then you did nothing wrong. You could have executed a full stop, stop and go, touch and go, or low approach. It might be nice to “advise” ...

Re: P3D PE ATIS sound fading (tried fixes)
Go to that 'Communications' tab, if it is checked, uncheck it by selecting something else, and 'Apply' that other setting, then reselect 'Do Nothing' and 'Apply' that setting again. Then try the sim. I know it doesn't make sense but RealTek drivers sometimes revert to the 'Reduce by 80%' on a restar...

Re: XP11: Radios stop working when I connect to PilotEdge
May be a long shot, but check that 'Communications' tab and make sure 'Do Nothing' is checked. If it is checked, uncheck it by selecting something else, and 'Apply' that other setting, then reselect 'Do Nothing' and 'Apply' that setting again. Then try the sim. I know it doesn't make sense but the R...
