Hope I didn't come off jerky, I didn't mean the controller was ridiculous......
he was nice and professional.....
I was trying to describe the situation being ridiculous I.E. a nice ATC controller who raises eyebrows (because nobody's on the same page) by making pilots read back correctly.

If they want us to readback "by the book," and expect ATC to enforce accurate read backs, they need to have all controllers on board and maybe send an email out so we can expect it. To have one controller expecting what this controller was, is silly, as he just comes off as a ridiculous co...

I understand and agree with the observation the original poster has noticed. However, he has always been "professional," and accurate. His tone can be less then happy but he is always helpful, clear, and will identify and correct any issues he sees. I believe he adds greatly to the overall...

Just compted a flight 15 min ago: IFR level 11000 KSNA-KPSP via M7 departure TRM direct. On the departure just east of TEYKI (I think) I check in with socal with the wx and request the vor b. SOCAL gives me cleared VOR-B approach with no altitude. I read it back but At this point I am a bity confuse...
