Anyone running Windows 7?

One of our testers is using Win7 32-bit. X-Plane is hanging for him just as the plugin finishes loading. Is anyone else using Win7 32-bit? If so, had any probs?

Re: Requested drone flights

Hi Charan, I realize you're probably joking but we won't, of course, tell the pilots that the traffic is a 'drone', right? :) As a controller, you have 'no idea' what kind of airplane that unidentified VFR target is....you're not even sure if that's his correct altitude. "altitude indicates 11,...

Re: Requested drone flights

Charan, I've been focusing on SoCal because that's the facility that I anticipated being involved in the initial beta testing, but given that we have secured a healthy number of NorCal controllers, it looks like we'll be on track to launch with Norcal/Socal. Go ahead and start recording them at will...

server status 10/16

I noticed the drones were offline when I checked the stats this afternoon, pointing to either a server problem, or an issue with the machine on which the drones are running (they're 2 different machines, as of a few days ago). Apparently the Windows box (running the voice server and the drones) deci...

Re: Videos

And part 3 is done. I really didn't have a lot of time to edit this one a whole lot, but it the job of showing a VFR traffic pattern, some tower interaction, and keeping an eye out for other aircraft.

Re: Videos

Here ya go: IFR Demo Part 2. 10mins 59secs and 17frames (another 8 frames and it would've exceeded the YT limit).

There will be a brief Part 3...there wasn't room for the lap of the pattern that ensued after my go-around.

Re: Videos

Here's the first of the two part video of the IFR flight from LGB to SNA, shot earlier in the afternoon. Thanks to Brad for providing the ATC for the demo. [EDIT: posted hi-def version] The second part (involving everyone else) will be posted tomorrow, I have high hopes for it. Thanks to Brad, Alex...

Re: Pilots/controllers requested for tonight

Excellent, AT and BP will be controlling, everyone else that can get in an airplane will be in an airplane :) The goal is to have as much relevant ATC interaction going on as possible. I'll be flying LGB to SNA for vectors ILS RWY 19R app. I've already recorded the clnc, gnd and taxi portions out of...

Pilots/controllers requested for tonight

Hi guys, Controller/pilot availability permitting, I'm going to capture a video from the sim this evening that demonstrates what the network is about, and what it's capable of doing. If anyone is available from 6pm PDT onwards, please let me know. I'll be emailing a lot of ppl directly, too, since I...
