Re: Little NavMap

Make sure AI traffic is turned on in LittleNavmap and that you are logged into PE.
I use LittleNavmap all the time with no problem. It even shows the drone traffic and the tail #s match Pilotedge's online map.

I'm sure it's something simple.

Re: Some questions..

I am by no means an expert either with only about a year on PE myself but as far as the departure, unless given a 'left downwind departure', or the like, it is expected you follow current FAA recommendations and that is a straight-out or 45° away from the field at the end of the runway. They are usu...

Re: Live Map Background

I've often thought that myself.
I usually just pick landmarks like stadiums, roads, etc., shown on the sectional and situational awareness to get by.

Re: Cat-10 LAX tower question

So out of pure curiosity because I've already done the CATs Does RW just utilize the Coastal Route in both directions? I would think it would be the easiest solution for both PE and RW.

Just my 2¢ in the gumball machine :)

Re: Departure question

... I think my favorite version of the downwind departure is departing the pattern on a 45 degree at midfield then start climbing. It keeps my arrival corridor open while still pointing you roughly in the right direction for where you want to go. Is it acceptable to just keep the nose up on downwin...

Re: Confessions of a Humbled Pilot

Rolls, the bag of cats thing was a good analogy! Like you, I too passed the first 10 CAT ratings with flying colors. And I too looked at the CAT 11 as the victory lap of the CAT's after passing the CAT 10. And I too failed the 11 miserably with an equally long story behind it. Different scenario but...

Re: Getting Back into Flying

Now, I'm thinking of getting back into it thanks to PE. What would I change about PE? 1. Expand to the East Coast. Regards, Hank Welcome Hank! I too would like to see the southeast get included in all this. Yes it's flat for the most part but it would be nice to fly around in the area I live in. Ha...
