Re: performance calculations

There is no document that directly gives you this information, including Jeppesen charts. The Jepp FDPro app has a feature that’ll allow you so seen how much runway you have up to a specific taxiway exit, but nothing specific for intersection departures.

R44 AI Model for drone traffic

This Robinson R44 AI model has been created specifically for PilotEdge helicopter drone traffic. Without this model, the helicopters will display as the default model.

You can download it here...

Re: MSFS Options for Model Matching Default Aircraft

As Kevin stated, we've answered this on Discord but if additional questions or issues arise, let's use the "Default Model Mismatch" forum post or Discord to avoid taking this thread too far off topic.

Re: Default Model Mismatch

Moving the conversation here so as to not clutter up the other post with troubleshooting. Most of this is copied and pasted from the Discord responses. 1. Try uninstalling the Pilot client and reinstalling. When you uninstall, in addition to uninstalling it like you would any other windows program, ...

Re: Pilotclient IDENT keybind Request

Asobo has created a simvar (coding) for the ident feature. Currently, only the Working Title G1000 NXi button actually sends this signal. Voting will help Asobo recognize that the community wants this feature implemented, and they'll be able to update the existing ident buttons to actually work. If ...

Re: MSFS Options for Model Matching Default Aircraft

First off, there is no longer a need to edit the default aircraft in settings. It is set by default as the Asobo Cessna 172 that comes installed with every version of MSFS. Set the default aircraft to "Cessna Skyhawk G1000 Asobo", and ensure you have the default Asobo Cessna 172 installed ...

Re: Rule of thumb for uncontrolled best radio freq to use

If an airport doesn't have a published CTAF, you should use Multicom on 122.90. For air to air communications use 122.75. 123.45 is reserved for other uses, and shouldn't be used, but pilots still use it as an unofficial air to air since it's easy to remember. I'm not sure about the recordings though.

Go to PAGE 2 of the LOGON/STATUS screen by hitting the NEXT button, then hit the top left soft key to change the network from "CUSTOM" to "PILOTEDGE". Once you make that change, it'll be saved when you exit. Or you can redownload the FANS GUI app that includes an updated config f...
