Re: time to build a new machine, and thoughts on XP10

Keith, you posted the exact specs of the next machine I plan to build. 4GB of ram is not enough for you. Although adding more probably won't help your fps, I'd rather have more room available. 8GB is the minimum, and I'll probably aim for 16GB, since I plan on running multiple VMs. Definitely do not...

Re: Opinion needed: focus fields?

I personally used the focus fields as a place to have a recommended flight for me, since most of them were less than 100 nm. I didn't care so much of the aspect of seeing other flight on them, but I wanted a way to gradually tour the entire ZLA airspace!

Re: Anyone Looking for a Flying Club?

I've begun doing some very low level development at the moment, but will be getting more feedback as decisions needs to be made. I'll be sure to post any updates.

Post Your Cockpit

I'm interested in seeing what setup other pilots on PE use for their daily flyer. Since a video is worth 1000 words, I've linked two videos to my setup. I'd be interested in seeing yours!

Re: Anyone Looking for a Flying Club?

I quickly checked out FS Economy, and it looks like something I envisioned for this. However, I feel that I can do better.

Anyone Looking for a Flying Club?

As many people have, I've been flying a lot of GA on the network lately and I feel I'm getting a lot of experience that can be used in the real world. I've been considering the idea of creating a "GA pilots club", based on the same aspects of how a virtual airline is run. I'm a software en...

Webpage to File Flightplan?

I'm sure this has been considered, but are there plans in the future to have a web page where we can file flight plans online? Often times, I find myself planning my flight on my laptop or iPad, then logging in later to file my flight plan. It would be much nicer to file online, and set an estimated...

Saitek Radio Panel with X-Plane

Anyone have any experience with this working on X-Plane? The documentation states MS Flight Sim only, so I wonder if it would work out of the box? Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/PRO-Flight-Radio- ... =pd_sim_e1

Re: v0.5.0 released

Keith, I can confirm that this version is now working for me! However, my video card died, so I'll be sending it in under RMA and will not be able to fly until next week. Great job on all the hard work.
