v0.6.2 released

Post by Keith Smith »

Release Notes:
- fixed saving of TAS into the persistent flight plan that's stored on disk (used when plugin is first loaded).

- Added 'connected' and 'disconnected' messages , requires X-Plane text ATC and/or voice ATC to be enabled).

- Added the ability to RECEIVE private messages, also requires X-Plane text ATC and/or voice ATC to be enabled. Can't send msgs yet, though. If you lose all contact with ATC, squawk 7600, and ATC should send you a message to help you troubleshoot.

- Added fallback mode to default playback device if the attempt to open a specified audio device fails

- Cleaned up debugging messages in VSPro.out log file

Kieth, you prolly already know, but Austin is announcing the Xplane 9.65 Beta release on x-plane.org. Dunno if it will play well with the PE plugin. Just thought I'd mention it.

It should be fine. The new beta of XP had no changes in the SDK. In fact, PE has been tested on XP10 already and had no issues.

The PE client builds are not specific to a version of X-Plane, they're tied to a specific version of the X-Plane SDK. In our case, we need features that are found in XP 9.41 and beyond. As long as they don't brake those things moving forward, PE should be fine.
