Anyone running Windows 7?

Post by Keith Smith »

One of our testers is using Win7 32-bit. X-Plane is hanging for him just as the plugin finishes loading. Is anyone else using Win7 32-bit? If so, had any probs?

I'm using 64bit 7, haven't had problems yet. I'll let you know if I do.

I have two guys with win 7 (Roger is 32-bit if I remember right, and the second fellow, Andrew, will be posting his OS shortly in this thread). Roger is using ATI vid card, Andrew is NVidia. The crashes happen after the plugin is loaded, but before it is 'enabled', which should happen shortly after loading.

Any other win7 folks here? So far, David C is the only one, and he's using 64-bit and loving life.

Win7 64-bit(I have no idea what that means, but hopefully it helps somehow).

David, I suspect you're already on the latest. I built a new version during the Summit (untested at the time), but it didn't help the stability problems, so I rolled back to 0.3.2 again (that's what's on the site now). I doubt you'll need to upgrade.

There is a Win7 32 bit version? Kinda seems like a contradiction.
