Hi,
Is it possible to pick up ATIS while inbound using COM2? I find COM2 only works if I select it for mic & monitor on the audio panel (thus disconnecting COM1's audio).
This is on X-Plane 10, with Dual GNS430 (FlyThisSim) on a Cirrus SR22.
Thanks, Chris.

Re: COM2
The PE plugin for X-Plane only uses the COM1 radio. So, you're free to do anything you like with the com2 radio. This is good news, because it means you can indeed check the xplane ATIS on COM2 while you're still hearing COM1 (PE).

Re: COM2
You are on the right track. Unlike a real airplane, the stock xplane audio panel only allows you to pick com1 _OR_ com2. This would make you gun shy, naturally, about selecting com2, thinking it will kill the audio from COM1. For now, that doesn't happen because PE is hard coded to look at the com1 radio (for xplane only, FS9/X is a different story). You can use that to your advantage and get 2-radio functionality. The disadvantage is that you can't queue up freqs on COM2 and use that as an active PE radio.
Eventually we'll have an option in the client to change that behavior.
