RESOLVED X-Plane 10.50 & Windows Anniversary Update FPS Issue
Edit- it seems that the update for nVidia alone will work if you wish to not update windows.

nVidia driver update 373.06 running on Windows KB3194496 update has resolved my dreaded FPS issue with X-Plane 10.50

I have been testing this for about an hour now with pushing my graphics pretty hard.

My FPS have stayed about 28fps.

But now I'm confused. There is nothing to fix if you don't update windows so you don't need to change NVidia drivers.

Is the driver update fixing the FPS issue for those that updated to anniversary edition?

Yes :) The latest Nvidia drivers update (from 2-3 days ago) fixed the OpenGL FPS issue introduced by the recent Microsoft updates.
