Hello,

In vatsim, if you press the push-to-talk button, a little "T" indicator appears in the top left.

Can similar be achieved in the PilotEdge X-plane client?

Or does someone have a lua script or something, which can be used?

Thank you.

Max

Aerobask aircraft show PilotEdge PTT status. I think someone also wrote a lua script to show PTT status but I don't have the link handy.

Having been flying in the system from the day it started (and before that, really), once I know my system config is correct, the PTT indicator is simply not needed (stuck mics aside, but again that usually comes back to a well-tested config).

You know your PTT is working because if you hold down the PTT and you can still hear ATC coming through that radio....then the PTT is not working. If ATC's voice cuts out as soon as depress the PTT, then it is working.

You can also do a radio check with ATC, or with yourself on 123.45 by transmitting on one radio while monitoring the same freq on the other radio.

The Hotstart TBH 900 COM1 Mic button light blinks when the PTT is active. It's up to the aircraft makers to implement this.
