Have you mapped your PTT to "contact ATC" or to something else? If you xmit briefly while listening to the PE ATIS, does the ATIS cut out or does it keep playing?

As expected, it's operator error. Some of my joystick profiles were lacking the required PTT mapping ("contact ATC"). Thanks for the help.

Les, you're not planning on operating any heavy machinery or anything like that, are you, buddy? Maybe stay home, rest, and look out the window for a while. Look at all of the pretty birds. Aren't they pretty? There ya go, champ....rest up. Everything's great. You're doing great. *backs away slowly*
