FSXSE

Post by go_packers4321 »

Im sure its been talked about before, but pilotedge client will not see that FSX SE is running. Is there a fix to this or a way around it? Im not the best with computers but any help would be greatly appreciated

We'll be revisiting this now that dovetail appear to have finalized how their installer works. The simplest thing to do to get it up and running would be to tell it that you have the sim and PilotEdge on 2 different computers and that this machine will just run PilotEdge. This way, it'll at least install the client for you. It won't install the pop-up transponder or some of the visual models, but it should still work.

At worst, you may have to run the simconnect.msi that ships in the PilotEdge folder as well to make sure there is a viable version of simconnect there, too.
