Good place to start (Norcal)

Post by Keith Smith »

What is a "good place to start?" That would be an airport with
- lots of assignments within the PE service area, AND
- lots of suitable aircraft available for rent.

Here are some good starting points within Norcal. Feel free to reply with whatever you come across and I'll update this post.
- O69 (Petaluma), MASSIVE rental fleet parked there (20+ airplanes), lots of coastal airport charters
- KSMF (Sacramento International) PACWest hub, good collection of planes and plenty of local, well-paying hops
- KTVL (South Lake Tahoe), Calvary Aviation has some helicopters there with a good number of local charters. There's also some fixed wing rentals there

Short list, I know, but I can't spend more time on it :) If anyone can contribute to the list, please do.
