That was me, Marcus... Got back to the hotel a bit early today, and had a few minutes to kill. I must have snagged them right before you tried to.

Did a quick VFR triangle from CA84-2CA4-L18-CA84 in the C206.

I've gotta say that 2CA4 is probably much more "helo-friendly" than fixed wing! I could barely find it in my P3D scenery (Megascenery Earth), and the runway had an X on it!

Yep, the triangle is what it's all about. These FBO's are too small to generate many jobs, but if you do the hub & spoke thing, and they're not too far apart, it looks like it can be worthwhile.

Tim delicately pointed out that Torrey Pines doesn't actually have transient operations in real life...and he's right. I bought it before I realized there were quite a few FBO construction opportunities in the area.

What I'll probably do is build one more FBO, far away enough from the 'spokes' and make it the new hub. Torrey Pines will then become just another spoke.

If you give me a "heads-up", I'll move the rental planes over to the new hub, and carry some cargo if you want me to.

Thanks, Gavin, for now I simply need to build up some funds to prepare for the purchase of the new hub.

I have 4 gates at KONT and 4 gates at KLGB, they are currently pointing at KSAN but can switch them. Which one should I be pointing them at?

Thanks David. 46CA if you're up for it! Jeez, 8 gates would be a monster. Don't feel pressured to point all of 'em, but if you do, it would be neat to see the result!

Chris and I have rented gates at RNM and are pointing at 46CA as well.

Transferred them to 46CA, will be very interesting to see the resulting jobs.

89 operations for the month of February... How much you wanna bet the DEA's gonna be watching this place? Do you think they'll believe me if I tell 'em I came for the sheep? ;)

I've only got two aircraft in the area... a Cessna 337 Skymaster and a Piper PA38 Tomahawk. I'll be moving both to the field later this week. Both have reasonable rent rates. Ain't much, but it's what I've got.

I would dare to say it's not the first time the DEA has been out to Rancho Vallecito in real life.
