I must have been seeing things today as I flew my 407 into CL33 Pauma Valley Air Park and I could have swore I saw a 747 parked in the hanger.

Or even a "synthetic vision" image of the airport, on the side of the hill. Like the Road Runner cartoon, where the coyote paints a tunnel on the side of a mountain.

It would be much easier to land the airliners if we just dug a small canyon leading to the runway.
