What FSE Services do you want?

Post by Peter Grey »

Hello Everyone,

With the FBO networks pretty expansive with lots of opportunities for flights throughout the coverage area I'm considering expanding the Golden Eagle Network into aircraft services (rentals, leasing, financing).

There are lots of areas for growth so I'm interested to see if people think this would be helpful and if so what services would be most useful.

Please take a look at the choices above and let us know what FSE services you'd like us to support (you can pick up to 3).

Thanks, this poll will help me determine where to expand our FSE empire.

Peter,

One thing I would love to see is the Pilot Edge community controlling all of the FBO's in the PE coverage area. Clearly some have far more financial clout than others to make this happen.

I'd like to finance aircraft, but I'm nervous about working with someone I don't know, just like in real life. Sometimes I need a bit of cash to get to a small purchase (I'm $30k short of a Cessna right now) or with leasing, I want to try out a larger plane without spending $5k an hour dry.

Thanks for the survey...

If you need a $30k loan I can help you out there.

I got the rest of it earlier today. Snagged a Cessna 182 (IFR/AP) for $119,214 in Garden City, KS. Simply cheapest I've seen...

Yes! Especially the towered airports.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We will definitely take this feedback into consideration as we grow the FSE empire.

Peter, are you seeking investors as a mechanism to raise capital to support your "empire"? Perhaps a corporate bond offering? I doubt that an IPO would be workable since it would be hard to establish a stock price for Golden Eagle.

It's something I'd be willing to talk about.

I was going to get a little further down the line before I considered asking for investors for such an expansion but if you are interested PM or E-mail me and we can chat.

As an initial investor and board member of Independent Finance, I can ask the other board members to see if PilotEdge flyers could get a discount on loans from us. Let me know if that would interest you guys. We have financed everything from a J3 Cub (< $50k) to a P-3C (> v$8m).
