GLA looks to expand service to SEZ & PHX

Great Lakes Airlines is looking to expand service from its Denver hub to provide service to Sedona KSEZ and Phoenix KPHX with its Jetstream 41. The new route will also include a stop at Telluride KTEX on the south going leg and a stop at Aspen KASE on the north going leg. A trial flight was conducted on Feb 16. Here is the flight info. Captain Nathan Palmer preformed a very nice landing during clam winds and clear skies which was great weather for this maiden flight.

Next leg will be a departure test flight and airport familiarity into KPHX with no passengers on board. With this new route, current travelers at KASE will be routed via Rocky Mountain Air into KDEN while passengers originating at Idaho Falls KIDA will continue to KPHX.
