Desperate Need Someone to Ferry my AeroChamp plane KSUS-KSNA

Postby skyhog67 » Sun May 21, 2017 11:26 am

Hello,

I am asking for someone to ferry my plane Aero Champ - from KSUS to KSNA, I tried to ferry myself and spent $12K or more because the plane i tried to use needed to many stops refueling and i didn't know that the caravan couldn't make it. When i loaded it on the caravan it said it was 2500kg after my failed attempt it is now saying it weighs 7000kg.

Hoping someone can help me out. I am new to FSEconomy and have lost alot of Money.

The plane is crated and waiting in St. Louis, MO at KSUS.

Thanks Brett

I don't see a crate at SUS. You may need to go to your "My Flight" page, select the crate, and use the "Cancel selected assignments" button to make it available to others.

Wow. Either you've encountered a bug or that's not a Champ in the crate. The whole airplane should weigh maybe 550kg. If you're sure you crated an Aeronca Champion I'd suggest posting a bug report on the FS Economy support forum.

Afraid not. Like I said, I think the crate is bugged and you should post on the FSE forums. No way it should be that heavy.

I sent Support a message. I should be able to make that trip in a Cessna 208 Caravan its 1340 NM with that 500kg load correct? All the jets are too expensive to rent. I ask for a refund of my money spent and hours i logged. I can't fly because i flew too many hours trying to get it shipped...so frustrated. Thanks for the advise.

A Caravan can carry 500kg no problem. It'll be a long ferry flying 1400 nm at 140 knots in an un-pressurized plane, but it's definitely doable.

FSE said the plane should only weigh like 325kg but they won't give me the hours or money back...can you ferry it now? I can pay you for fuel...

thanks, Brett

I found the thread you posted. They've asked you to leave the crate alone until you hear back from them, and the crate still has the wrong weight. I might be able to help out once they fix the crate.
