VFR at 10.5k in the Seneca, gusty surface winds making for a rough ride even up high. After hearing the weather at the destination 20 gusting 32, decided to divert to Long Beach.
Just prior to that, you can hear Matt D picking up his clearance from AVX for the I-8 rating.
