Life's been kind of crazy the last few weeks. I'm working like a PE controller at a fly-in and don't really get much free time, but when I do this is what happens.
I fly out of SNA or F70 and head up to Santiago peak.
Then, I get myself into a nice hover and just sit there and watch all the drones and real traffic come in and out of SoCal for a little while while listening to the PE receiver.
The other night, I make a quick sprint on the East side of the LAX CL B to try and catch Ty on his way into VNY. I didn't quite catch him, but I did manage an 8000' autorotation to the numbers!
It's a nice change from smashing around the airspace at 240 knots trying to find the right field to land at for FSE!
