Edit: Nevermind, I misunderstood the purpose of the conversation.

Scott, how would that work in our system, end to end? I'm not seeing it.

This whole thread is very exciting!

Nice work on the 206 texture by the way.

Waiting to see how Keith works out the CSL's so we can see a sling load under a 407 :)

It's totally doable. The simplest thing to do, believe it or not, would be for the slung load to connect as a drone. I know that sounds crazy, but that could be done with no change in the protocol.

When I saw Chris' stream in the 407 with him trying to get sling loads workin', I gave it a try in the jetranger and got it up and going, I quickly had the same thought, Ken...but up until writing this post, I hadn't put together the best way to do it.

Alternatively, I could do a second form of position reports for the slung loads. As infrequently as it will be used as a feature, having it connect as a drone might be the way to go.

I purchased the 407 this weekend and have already started on a livery. I like how the 407 flies but painting it is no easy task.
