YouTube Captions

Post by ChrisS »

I had a guy comment on one of my PilotEdge videos who was deaf. I thought was was kind of weird, since it's PE that really makes any of my videos entertaining. I thought I'd take a look at what the auto-caption option was doing to transcribe some of the aviation lingo. As expected, it just turned into a bunch of nonsensical words, but I did get a nice compliment out of it!

It was another callsign who said "25 at Delta via Alpha Foxtrot"

There were a few more gems. Oddly, this is the only part it got right. My abbreviated glass cockpit checklist.

And one last gem from a guy reading back his clearance to KSNA.
