On my system (specs on Twitch profile) I don't really notice a drain other than longer load times on startup. YMMV depending on your system specs. The 1x1 tiles I've been generating are about 7GB at zoom level 17. I use 17 because I'm usually VFR pretty low. Well the sim is paused, I'm in free camera mode, and out in the middle of nowhere. I get 30-50 if flying in more populated areas so maybe your settings are higher?mikec wrote:Wow, how are you getting those frame rates?
