I have tried a number of ways to make the passing over VORs a graceful transition. Unfortunately, it still *feels* jerky and uncoordinated. I am now pursuing my I-5, but I am somewhat concerned about following the SIDs/STARs with any kind of elegance unless I can first handle a simple VOR transition with coordinated confidence.
Please tell how you make your transitions?
Thank you.

There is no sense in reinventing the wheel.
Thanks for the link. It looks like it's the ticket and I'll post any questions in that thread should I have any.
