Now that I have the resources to build these, I'll be producing a series of in-cockpit demo videos for each of the Pilot Ratings to help answer many of the questions that can't be answered by the transcripts and written material.

This thread will be updated as each video is completed, along with the master list. The videos are embedded in the rating pages.

Keith those introductory words on each video just make me wonder if you ever considered:

"Hello everyone, Keith Smith of pilotedge.net here, with another faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic briefing product. Order now and get it for just $19.95! - Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime chance to get your headings, radials and wordings, juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust right. *Cue a bunch of people giving overly-cheesy testimonies about how much your videos help*"?

Let's not forget the "before and after" segments...a must have for any good infomercial. Let's make sure the 'before' segment is shot in black and white under poor lighting, with a panel from the Nixon Administration. Let's have the pilot wrestling with the controls as though he was in mortal combat with a giant 20ft alligator. Then we'll cut to the 'after' shot of a perfectly groomed pilot behind the controls of a G650, in considerably better lighting, LNAV/VNAV engaged, turn to the camera...."thanks PilotEdge."

Keith, you will not like what I am about to say but we are honest so ......
1. Is there any chance to have all videos ( except on the V-01 ) recorded in daylight time?
It is almost impossible to follow your radio setup at the present stage.
2. Is there any way you could make the engine sound lower? I know I have a hearing problem but I think many others would rather hear you over the engine noise than vice versa, these are instructional videos so I believe that clear voice is important.
Thank you a great effort, I truly appreciate it but I think if you consider 1 and 2, many more people could benefit from the cockpit videos. :-) Cheers, AJ

The I1 note already says, "Note: it's quite dark, only viewable if you go full screen high-def. May eventually re-shoot at some point"

I just watched part of the I-2 in full screen, HD, and the radio setup was perfectly visible. Is your experience different?

Yes, subsequent videos have louder audio.

As far as visibility, I was able to see but I am sure at the daylight it would be like ... day to night ..lol.

I know , that subsequent videos have louder audio but are going to keep it this way in the next ones or lower the volume of the engines over your voice?

Ok, I'll keep it in mind. I thought I would do some night flight for variety but I can see how it's not as visually appealing.
