Getting ready to do my i7 tonight, and my guess is that the ceiling is going to be too low to land. If that is the case, and I go missed, climb to 3400 direct scx and hold, would I pass or fail? Should I wait until weather conditions were better to attempt? If I attempt and have to hold, would I just ask for vectors back to KSNA?
Thanks

Re: i7 question
the rating does require an ifr cancellation from the pilot. We need to know that pilots are aware of the requirement to cancel ifr themselves when operating into at a non towered airport. I'd recommend setting your own weather to something above minimums so you can do that.
you will be going missed during the I10.

Re: i7 question
Perfect. Thanks. I will turn ASN off and set a more predictable weather.
