We will help publicize the event to the extent possible either through the facebook page and/or the home page. To be included on the home page, a fly-out must have a graphic or logo of suitable quality. However, no graphic is required for including on the facebook page.
Note: if your event involves towered airports, we may or may not elect to promote it, simply based on the anticipated ATC workload. Generally speaking, if we arrange a formal PE event, it will involve extra staffing and towered airports. User-arranged events will be promoted if they don't involve towered airports.
That's not to say you can't arrange your own event which utilizes a towered airport. However, we may elect to not assist in the promotion of such an event so to avoid the need for extra ATC staffing.
Thanks to Chris and Ken for the recent Poker Run event and to Chris for the gliding and helicopter obstacle course events before that. If anyone else would like to join in and post events, please do, all are welcome. Be sure to include the event type, expected speeds, estimated duration and some background on what you're shooting for!
