Slew to the Active

Hi All,

As a blind pilot, I'm wondering if there's any procedure controllers would prefer I use when I need to taxi? I can't follow taxiways, as I can't actually see the charts or what's outside the virtual cockpit.

When I'm flying on my own, I just order my virtual copilot to "taxi," which actually slews the plane. I realize this isn't ideal in a multiplayer environment though.

Is it acceptable to ask for slew permission online? I want to avoid disrupting everybody's sense of reality as much as I can. I'd dearly love a way to use the taxiways like anybody else, but there doesn't seem to be any add-on for this yet.

I would advise the ground controller that you're unable to taxi and request permission to relocate to the runway. I don't think it'll be a problem. If there is traffic on final, they'll advise you to hold position until the final is clear. It's not a big deal.
