Question about callsigns and what I can use

Hi all! So i know a standard N-number callsign is standard for US private. N1234D as an example. However, you can register a special callsign such as "Pilotedge 24" or "Rushmore 2". Whats PEs policy on these types of callsigns? Or do I have to stick to N-number specific if Im not an airline?
