Acceleated IFR schedule

Acceleated IFR schedule

Anyone have experience with accelerated IFR at an FBO. Basically, looking for feedback on anyone who was able to complete the IFR within a month without going to one of these accelerated programs but rather creating their own program of sorts and flying consistently.

It's definitely possible. The fact that you're on Pilotedge makes it even more possible.

Yes, one of our customers, Jacob Eiting, went from zero to checkride after flying all over the western half of the United States for a week with his instructor (who was also a PE customer). They focused on weather and aeronautical decision making more so than IFR basics since he was already familiar with those and simply needed to get his 40 hours of simulated/actual instrument time.

Took me a while to find, but here's an episode of the SimpleFlight podcast talking about Jacob's experience in getting his rating in such a compressed timeframe: http://www.simpleflight.net/podcast/ifr ... l-7th-2013
