Hi guys,
I don't know if I can post this type of question here, but you guys know so much that maybe you can answer me.
I'm brazilian, and here we have 3 types of VFR/Aerodrome charts that I'm not sure if there is equivalent ones on US
PDC - https://aisweb.aer.mil.br/download/?arq ... 567f175e3a - This is a detailed chart about all parking positions at the airport
VAC - https://aisweb.aer.mil.br/download/?arq ... 567f175e3a - This is a chart for pattern definitions, entrys and exits, when the airport thoesn't have a default pattern
REA - https://www.aisweb.aer.mil.br/cartas/vi ... C16_15.pdf - This is a "VFR Highway" chart. Inside crowded areas there is routes that you need to follow even when in VFR flight, to not cross IFR traffic.
I'm trying to learn the US rules and when I fly I feel like I'm doing something wrong to not having this charts, there is this type of thing or it is different?
Thanks!
(Sorry about my english)
Equivalent charts BR x US
Re: Equivalent charts BR x US
Definitely would look at some websites like Skyvector, Vfrmap and the FAA website. Here are the links:
https://skyvector.com/
http://vfrmap.com/
https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_ ... vfrcharts/
also any airport information can be found here:

hope this helps....enjoy and happy/safe flying!

PDC Equivalent:
https://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1712/pdf/06075AD.PDF (Airport Diagram)
VAC Equivalent:
Pattern entry/exit instructions are generally assigned to you by the tower controller. However, some airports may have uncharted local procedures. Additional information regarding an airfield may be found in the chart supplement: https://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1711/af ... CT2017.pdf
REA Equivalent:
For suggested VFR routing to remain clear of airspace and IFR traffic, you can reference the TAC or FLY chart.
Step 1: Go here: https://skyvector.com/?ll=38.3482614439 ... t=16&zoom=
Step 2: Zoom in on KSFO
Step 3: Select San Francisco FLY or San Francisco TAC in the upper right hand corner.
The TAC chart will provide a more detailed depiction of a busy sector of airspace. The FLY chart is less detailed in regards to terrain, but provides VFR routes to remain clear of the Bravo airspace as well as the routing of IFR traffic in said airspace.
