737 help (range)

i recently made a real flight from montevideo to tocumen, sumu mpto, very long flight, 7 h 30 i logged fuel planner .com and suggested fuel was 53.000 punds,,,,max fuel capacity of 737-800 is 46.000.

i made the flight in xplane,a d heaqdwinds were bet 80 and 100 knots...

how real plane made this flight,,,plane was completely max weight,,,,

this post is just for mindscratching purposes, i sumpley dont get how this plane made this flight.


maybe slow cruse speed fo save fuel,,,,no idea.

Perhaps the head winds were considerably less when the real world flight took place.

hi its a regular nonstop flight, maybe that 737800 has that winlet conversion that burn less fuel,,,,flight was 11pm to 6 am, maybe they play with less headwinds,,,,but really make me think.
