Frustrating problem with takeoffs .

Post by Marty »

Hi...I hope someone can help me with this annoying phenomenon. While gaining speed on a runway and with no autopilot engaged, the plane flys straight up. I am unable to have it remain on the ground until I approach the typical v 1 speed.
Any ideas??

Is your trim set properly? Flight controls neutral?

I know my A2A Cessna 182 has to have the elevator trim set a little down of T/O or it will go vertical on me after takeoff.

Also check your weight and balances. A little tail heavy will do that.
