This is coming up tonight, Feb 26 at 7pm PST.

Reroutes, short cuts, holds, diversions, VFR on top, cruise clearances, block altitudes and symbols on charts that wouldn't be out of place in King Tut's tomb. What does it all mean?

Find out tonight at the workshop!

More info including how to connect to the DTP TS3 is available here: http://www.pilotedge.net/workshops/ifr- ... ute-charts

You do NOT need to be a PilotEdge member to attend the workshop. In fact, there's very little discussion about PilotEdge (by design) in these workshops, it's really about the VFR and IFR material and applying it to real world flying.

Simply show up on the TS3 a few minutes before the workshop, a docent will guide you to Special Event Conference Room, in which a URL will be shared for the screen sharing session.

The presentation duration will be 2 hours, after which people will be free to chat with other participants.

Working on getting the recording for this one. Good news is was able to record it locally, the bad news is that I didn't capture the whole thing as there was a hitch with join.me (they only allow 10 people in the basic product, so I had to register for the pro version with 2 mins before the start time). I was quite a way into the presentation when I realized I wasn't recording. Thankfully, Christian came to my aid and was recording a backup.

The NEXT workshop will utilize some of the new features of the Pro version of join me, such as annotations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjMVb4IBq-w

This is going to be perfect for chart review!

It's still processing after the upload but should be available here soon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eMa_7sKpkc. I'll add it to the official page once it's done.

Thanks to Christian for recording this one.
