Not seeing real traffic (redux)

Post by hoser70 »

With the new client supporting P3D I figured not seeing real traffic would be a thing of the past, however it's now a bigger problem.

Is there an options somewhere in the PE client that simply substitutes an aircraft I have if a "Real" pilot is filed as something different than the very limited types in my PE file? In other words, why is there not a default aircraft type that displays if we don't have that particular model?
Thanks,
Lance

As was specified in the release notes, the default type for P3D is BE36 (since P3D comes with a Bonanza). Prior to that, it makes its best effort to match the 'closest' plane it can find.

If you'd like to change the mappings based on what you have installed, please do. We ship with a P3D configuration file that utilizes all of the default aircraft, then it falls back to the SB and VIP model set.
