clicking noise starts going then about 5-10 later, freeze

Post by golfpilot »

This is only happening when using Pilotedge. I start getting a beep sound, the kind where if you were using windows and there is an error. Then I start getting it alot then after about 5-10 minutes of the click/beep noise P3D freezes up. I then have about 30 seconds to a minute were I can talk to the controller. Sometimes it gives me a memory error message. Anybody else have these sudden freezes?

Are you using a keyboard-based PTT? If so, can you make sure that you're using a non-printable character (such as the LEFT CONTROL key), rather than a printable character (ie, one of the letters of the alphabet or a symbol?)

I do recall seeing a case during testing where a printable character would work as the PTT, but it would fill up the text entry area after long term use. Perhaps that is causing the issue.

I have been using the caps key. I will try the left control key though see if that changes anything
