Can't run PE Client after W-10 Installation

Post by HenryR »

I just converted to Windows 10, and when I tried to run the PE client software for Prepar3d, I got the following message:

"The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use command-line xsxtrace.exe tool for more information."

Any help is appreciated.''

Hello,

To solve this problem run "simconnect.msi" in the folder where your PE client is.

Thanks, Peter. That worked. I almost ran SimConnect when I say the error the first time, then I thought, "I've already run it when I installed OpusFSI, so no need to do it again." Duh! That's what I get for thinking! :D
