Old airport data

Post by Turner »

For what it's worth, P3D V4 runs nicely, but that seems to be about the only plus for me so far; I've just discovered, as I taxied up to 20R at SNA, that it's still 19R in P3D...

Someone posted in another forum that the data is from 2006. Not good, if that's the case.

Anyway, another annoyance is that the GPS is basically unusable, but I guess if the database is that old, it may not make much of a difference anyway.

Just a heads up.

Think you will need to update the afcad or install a newer scenery (LatinVFR KSNA) if it's compatible will update the runways no doubt.

Regarding the stock GPS I've found it unusable as well some of the buttons don't work. I've just come over from FSX where I would either fly GA aircraft with the GTN750 which of course hasn't been updated for 64 bit yet or fly a tubeliner with FMS and updated nav data.

You could also go old school /A for now until the GPS addons are brought up to date.
