Kyle, It's certainly a great mission generator, but this challenge is such excellent way to get to really know ZLA's terrain and airspace including all the MOAs and Restricted areas of NV, etc. in areas I'd likely not go. I made it a point to keep real weather and time of day actual, and then plan the flight as I would in the RW - whether to file IFR or VFR, or use radar services or not, picking altitudes for weather and winds, etc. A worthwhile endeavor for sure.
