New KSFO Class B airspace

Post by N124AG »

Given the recent change in the KSFO Class B airspace, is PE using the old or new airspace?

New.

Pilotedge includes all permanent changes to relevant airspace and airport layouts in realtime. If a new chart is published, it goes into effect here on the date the chart becomes active real world. There may be occasional cases where this is not possible for various reasons, but our standard practice is to operate from the current FAA navigation and airspace database.

Thanks JX. Now I just have to find out how to get the new airspace to display in the Garmin. I know the USA.TXT file in "x-plane/Resources/default data/airspaces" folder is where the coordinates for the airspace resides, but do not know how to update it. Navigraph does not appear to modify it as well.
