whoever was running LA Center/Approach/etc tonight for helping me down -- I've very little IFR experience so filing the en-route IFR and then having to re-schedule me into the mix after x-plane had the tailwind ILS shutdown (even thought winds were light/variable)... Tonight wasn't the best for VFR, but it seemed to be a decent foray into the IFR world!
