Live video of controlling and flying

Post by Keith Smith »

For tomorrow's beta, I'm going to try recording a live video/audio stream from my desktop while I control, and Philip is going to broadcast his flight. The recordings are then archived and available for a period of time on http://justin.tv.

URL's to watch/listen live will be posted here as well as on the site.

That's a great idea. I would find it very interesting seeing "what's on the other end".

kudos for your idea.

Yes it would be interesting. Since you cover such a broad territory, the interface must be markedly different from the VatSim controller software.

Actually, we don't. It is the los angeles artcc, just like vatsim.

The software is almost identical. We are working on a new sector file, but right now it is the same one.

What is different is how we delegate the twr, gnd, del roles compared to vatsim. Overall, we still limit a controller to working one artcc at a time.
