I noticed that Keith did not recieve DME on the ILS RWY 24 approach into KCRQ on the training video for the I-02 rating.
The problem is a missing entry in x-planes's EARTH_NAV.DAT file (located in Resources/default data directory).
Add the following entry and DME reception will be available (out to 18 miles) from the ICRQ localier:
12 33.13002800 -117.27586400 319 10870 18 0.000 ICRQ KCRQ 24 DME-ILS
The entry can be added at any point in the in the file, but to keep things nice and neat it should be placed directly after this entry:
12 40.00269200 -082.91139700 822 10910 18 0.000 IONB KCMH 28R DME-ILS

For those who are Frequent Flyers at KCRQ, the missing DME has been added in the latest version of the X-Plane navaid data file. Available for download here:
