KHES scenery for free

Post by Steven Winslow »

If you want to add KHES (formerly O31) Healdsburg, CA to your custom scenery folder, you can download the scenery I just created at the following link:

http://www.winslowstudio.com/scenery/KH ... ly_O31.zip

KHES was known as O31 (that's 'oh', not 'zero') until August 2009 when it was changed to KHES. However, X-Plane still has the O31 designator. The folder is correctly named, but to place yourself at this airport you will need to enter O31 or Healdsburg in the Select Global Airport menu.

I used the stock airport layout and data and Overlay Editor. The scenery requires OpenSceneryX.

Enjoy,

Steve Winslow

EDIT: Andrew Cook, COO of Air Northwest has fixed the airport code issue as well as the airport boundary and some of the taxiway and lighting issues. If you downloaded this scenery before 02:48 zulu, March 28, please download it again and replace.

My wife and I went to Healdsburg for a weekend before we were married. We eventually found the airport during one of the road trips we took over the course of the weekend. It's just beautiful out there.

Thanks for posting this.
