server outages today and moving forward

I recently had to retire yet another set of UPS (uninterrupted power supplies) from the server farm the other day. I'll be moving the service to a hosted facility prior to launch of course, but in the mean time, if the service is down from time to time, this is likely to be the reason. Up until recently, we've enjoyed mostly uninterrupted service, but now that the UPS is out of play, it might get a little rocky, particularly with the storm season firing up.
