On the off chance that it would help, I took my best crack at Markian a few days before the shoot with several attempts to lure him into my Den L'amour.

Unfortunately, said Den was actually the temporarily vacated bedroom of a 4yr old kid with a short, single bed, and a wall covered in Milwaukee Brewers fan merchandise.

Despite the continual use of rapier-like wit, a Barry Manilow compilation album and enough sedatives to drop a rhino....I had no luck.

Somehow, they went ahead with the shoot anyway.

$1500 for a week's internet connection at Oshkosh? Dang Kieth, maybe you are going into the wrong business :)

Based on the interest we saw the at show, I'm pretty sure that we're in exactly the RIGHT business. But, I hear ya. $1500 for internet is painful.

Great demo and setup at the booth, Keith. It was a blast to try out and nice to meet you in person.

Overall, definitely one of the better AirVenture's recently (this was my 9th in a row...going for 10 next year!).

Spreading the word, ... let's see if PE's members can get on this on the "popular articles" list in flightaware.
Good exposure for PE, good leverage of the AOPA article, and every vote helps:
http://flightaware.com/squawks/browse/g ... cently/new
Titled: Pilot Training and Communications: New ATC sim has potential to ease communication training burden

[Edit] Here is the direct link, click on the green up arrow "Squawk" for flightaware's "thumbs up" equivalent
and hopefully enough to get it in tomorrow's "Flightaware Morning Aviations News & Photo Newsletter"
