Hello all,
So I am wondering, if I am flying from an airport outside the coverage area to one in the coverage area. (example: KPHX > KLAX), how can I know which center/frequency I have to contact as I approach it? I am looking in Sky Vector, and in the en route charts I can see certain frequencies, but still not sure which one would be the right one. Also I know certain centers handle up until a certain altitude, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

When you are crossing the Albuquerque/Los Angeles ARTCC line, look for the nearest "Frequency Stamp". This will get you speaking to someone. If anything, that controller will tell you who you need to be talking to.

Thank you Kyle. That is what I was thinking, but wanted to know if there may have been a more efficient, or proper way to know this. Thanks again!
