AI-traffic models (the drones)

Post by Medtner »

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is any way of getting the drones to be more precise in their appearance? I've got a huge bunch of Bonanzas doing sightseeing tours on Catalina, for example. They should be helicopters, I'm sure.

I've had Ultimate Traffic Live installed a few days now, and that only improved things slightly. Or maybe the removing of the VIP3 and Squawkbox-models, as recommended in a post here on the forums, was "releasing" the Bonanzas to be used as helicopters. Before doing this I couldn't get any helicopters at all, but ATC gave me traffic advisories for them, so I know they were there.

So it seems that the old VIP3 and SQB-models don't work, and the situation is only ever so slightly better with Ultimate Traffic Live.
Any other model sets that can be found and used for this?

Ahh. Do you have any ideas on how I can improve things in P3D v4? :-)

This is why it's best to post your questions in the sim-specific forum rather than the General forum.

I would hang tight on this issue, we have some news regarding the P3D client coming soon.

Ahh, I completely missed that part of the forum.

I'll stand by for news on the P3D-client then. Or, rather, I'll go flying - hovering Bonanzas or not. :)

Happy new year! :D
